This is the bottle our Head Winemaker takes home at the weekend. Winemaker’s Choice isn’t made to a fixed recipe; it is a carefully selected blend of the very best red barrels from the harvest.
If you want to taste the absolute peak of Yorkshire red wine potential, this is it. It is richer, deeper, and more complex than our standard range. It’s full-bodied, packed with dark fruit, and finished with a touch of spice. The best of the best.

We taste every single barrel we produce. Most go into our signature blends, but occasionally, we find something special. We set these barrels aside to create the Winemaker’s Choice. It’s usually a blend of Rondo and Pinot Noir, chosen for their depth and structure. You get intense notes of blackberry, plum, and a black pepper spice that warms you up. It’s a serious wine for serious food.
