The Winehouse Café
Situated right in the centre of our vines, the Winehouse Café is the hub of life at Yorkshire Heart. Whether you’re looking for a hearty breakfast after a dog walk, a lazy lunch with friends, or just a quiet spot to enjoy a coffee and a slice of cake, we’ve got a table waiting for you.
We have plenty of indoor seating for those crisp Yorkshire days, and a sun-trap terrace for when the weather plays ball. Children and dogs are more than welcome, in fact, with acres of space to run around, we’re the perfect pitstop for the whole family.
On the Menu
Our menu changes with the seasons, but the philosophy stays the same: good ingredients, prepared simply.
- Breakfast & Brunch: Served until 11:30 am , start the day right with our full “Hearty Breakfast” , Eggs Benedict , or lighter options like fruity granola.
- Lunch: Indulge in our famous “Hearty Platters,” including the Yorkshire Ploughman’s featuring Voakes’s pork pie and local cheeses , or try our Charcuterie Board. We also serve made-to-order sandwiches and soups.
- Yorkshire Tapas: Perfect for a light bite, our tapas menu features local favourites like homemade mackerel pâté, pork pies, and roasted red peppers.
- Treats: A daily assortment of homemade cakes and scones served with jam and clotted cream.
Experiences at the Café
The Winehouse isn’t just for grabbing a quick sandwich. It’s the starting point for our best experiences:
- Cellar Door Tastings: Want to try before you buy? We offer dedicated Beer and Wine tastings served right here in the café.
- Wine Tasting: Includes glasses of our Latimer range accompanied by your choice of tapas.
- Beer Tasting: Choose from our Classic or Signature packages, featuring 500ml bottles of your choice and a selection of tapas to share.
- Afternoon Tea: Relax with a selection of sandwiches, cakes, and scones served with a cup of proper Yorkshire Tea. You can even upgrade to include a glass of sparkling wine.
- Picnics: In the warmer months, collect a hamper, complete with a bottle of wine or beer, and head out into the vines to find your own private dining spot.
Venue Hire
Are you planning a special celebration this year? The Winehouse Café offers a unique backdrop for birthdays, anniversaries, hen-dos, or just a big get-together with friends.
- Capacity: We can cater for groups of up to 50 people inside the café.
- Summer Events: In the warmer months, celebrations can extend into our beautiful marquee, offering plenty of room for larger parties to spread out and enjoy the setting.

We are open for breakfast, lunch, and coffee.
- Tuesday – Saturday: 9:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Sunday: 9:30 am – 4:00 pm (Easter to October)
- Sunday: CLOSED (November to Easter)
(Note: We are closed on Mondays).
