Not everyone wants a guided tour. Sometimes you just want to sit down, open a few cold ones, and enjoy some good food. Our Cellar Door Beer Tasting is designed for exactly that.

Held in the relaxed setting of our Winehouse Café (or out on the terrace if the sun is shining), this experience lets you explore our award-winning range at your own pace. There’s no lecture and no schedule, just full 500ml bottles of your choice, paired with our famous Yorkshire tapas.

Choose Your Experience

Forget tiny taster glasses. We’ve structured our tastings around full bottles and sharing plates, making it the perfect social afternoon. Choose the tier that suits your group size (or thirst level!):

  1. Bronze Tasting (£25.00): A perfect introduction to the range or a generous treat for one.
    • The Beer: 3 x 500ml bottles of your choice
    • The Food: Accompanied by 3 tapas dishes
    • Suitable for: 1 or 2 people
  2. Silver Tasting (£45.00): Stepping it up. A great option for a couple or a small group of friends
    • The Beer: 6 x 500ml bottles of your choice
    • The Food: Accompanied by 4 tapas dishes to share.
    • Suitable for: 2 to 4 people.
  3. Gold Tasting (£65.00): The ultimate session. Gather the troops for a proper afternoon feast.
    • The Beer: 9 x 500ml bottles of your choice.
    • The Food: Accompanied by 6 tapas dishes.
    • Suitable for: 4 to 6 people.

How it works.

  • Availability: Tuesday – Saturday.
  • Time: Bookable between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.
  • The Beer: You choose your bottles from our fully stocked fridge, featuring everything from our Silverheart IPA to the dark and rich Blackheart Stout.
  • The Food: Our tapas menu features locally sourced favourites like cheese, meats, crackers, olives and chocolate.

We are tucked away in the beautiful village of Nun Monkton, just off the A59 between York and Harrogate.

  • By Car: We have plenty of free parking on-site. Just follow the signs for the vineyard once you hit the village.
  • By Taxi: We recommend pre-booking your taxi home, as signal can be patchy in the vines!
