Brewery Tour & Tasting

From £25.00 per person
Tour & 6 Tastings
Yorkshire Tapas Included
Bar Stays Open Late

We don’t do dry lectures. We do deep dives into independent brewing. Join us for a night that combines a behind-the-scenes look at our brewhouse with what we do best: drinking beer and eating good food.

Hosted personally by our owner and head brewer, Tim, you’ll see exactly how we turn water, malt, and hops into our award-winning ales. Once the learning is done, the session begins. With six tastings and a hearty supper included, it’s the best value night out in Yorkshire.

Start time is 6pm at the Brewery.

Please note the Vineyard and Brewery are about half a mile apart. The Brewery is at Carlton Farm, Frank Lane, Nun Monkton, YO26 8EJ.

What to Expect (The Itinerary)

  1. Meet the Brewer
No scripts here. Tim will take you into the brewhouse to walk you through the ingredients, the equipment, and the passion that goes into every pint. It’s a chance to geek out on hops or just see where the magic happens.
  2. The First Round
Thirsty work, isn’t it? While you’re in the brewery, we’ll pour your first three half-pints of our draft and bottled beers. You’ll taste them fresh from the source, surrounded by the tanks they were made in.
  3. The Feast
After the tour, we head to the Winehouse Café to settle in. We’ll serve you three more half-pints of your choice, paired with our famous “Yorkshire Tapas”; a hearty spread of cheese, meats, crackers, olives and chocolate.
  4. The Session
The formal tour lasts about 90 minutes, but we’re in no rush to kick you out. The bar stays open, so you’re welcome to stay, chat, and work your way through the rest of the taps at your own pace.

Getting here

Pool Lane, Nun Monkton, York, YO26 8EL

We are tucked away in the beautiful village of Nun Monkton, just off the A59 between York and Harrogate.

  • By Car: We have plenty of free parking on-site. Just follow the signs for the vineyard once you hit the village.
  • By Taxi: We recommend pre-booking your taxi home, as signal can be patchy in the vines!
