White Wine
Solaris Orange Wine
Discover an English orange wine. For our Solaris, we leave the grape skins on during fermentation, the same way you’d make a red.
The result isn’t just a colour change; it’s a flavour revolution. You get a deep amber pour, bags of texture, and a zest that hits you like a fresh Yorkshire breeze. It’s bold, it’s different, and it’s absolutely delicious. No snobbery, just great grapes doing their thing.
More Details
Solaris is a grape that absolutely loves our Yorkshire soil. But for this vintage, we decided to break the rules. Instead of throwing the grape skins away (like you do for a normal white wine), we let them hang out in the juice for a while.
This extracts all those deep tannins and flavours usually lost in the process. It turns the wine a stunning tangerine colour and gives it the “grip” and body of a red wine, with the refreshing finish of a white.
Winemakers Notes
The Solaris skins have truly worked their magic this year. That deep rich amber hue and the unexpected body they impart... it's a statement wine, not just an orange, but a vessel for pure Yorkshire sunshine. A perfect match for a simple cheese board."
