Rosé Wine
Latimer Rosé Wine
If you find some modern rosés a bit too serious (or too sharp), meet Latimer. This is our unashamedly fruity, fun-loving rosé. While our Eleanor is dry and pale, Latimer is all about big, juicy summer flavours.
It’s bursting with sweet red fruits, think bowlfuls of strawberries and raspberries. It has a lovely refreshing acidity, but with enough natural fruit sweetness to make it incredibly easy-drinking. It’s a proper crowd-pleaser, perfect for sunny afternoons in the garden.
More Details
We make Latimer Rosé using Regent grapes, a variety that ripens beautifully in Yorkshire to produce bags of flavour. We press them gently to release that vibrant pink colour and those unmistakable notes of summer pudding. It’s off-dry (meaning it’s not bone dry), so it feels softer on the palate. It’s the wine equivalent of a good chat with an old friend. Uncomplicated, uplifting, and leaves you smiling.
Winemakers Notes
"Not everyone wants a bone-dry rosé. We make Latimer for the people who love fruit. It’s got that lovely 'strawberries and cream' character that just screams English summer. It’s soft, it’s fresh, and it doesn't take itself too seriously."
