Give them the whole afternoon. This voucher treats two people to our guided vineyard tour and wine tasting, plus a proper Yorkshire afternoon tea at the Winehouse Café. No rushing off, no watching the clock.
They’ll be welcomed with a glass of our Sparkling Wine, shown round the vines and the winery, then guided through three of our wines with a plate of Yorkshire nibbles. After that, it’s sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream and jam, and cakes. It’s a proper day out in Nun Monkton, and a lovely gift for anyone who enjoys good wine but can’t stand a stuffy lecture.
The Experience
- The Welcome: A glass of our Sparkling Wine on arrival, in the Winehouse or out on the terrace with a view of the vines.
- The Tour: A relaxed, guided walk through the vineyard and the winery. They’ll hear how a garden hobby of 35 vines grew into 29,000 vines across 18 acres. No question is too silly.
- The Tasting: A generous tasting of three of our still wines (white, red and rosé), with the flavours and the stories behind each bottle.
- The Nibbles: Wine needs food. The tasting comes with a plate of proper Yorkshire nibbles: cheese, meats, crackers, olives and chocolate.
- The Afternoon Tea: Fresh sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream and jam, and a selection of cakes, served with tea or coffee (or more wine, if they fancy it).

- Format: Choose E-Voucher (Instant) or Postal Voucher (Gift card).
- Validity: 12 months from purchase.
- Includes: Sparkling wine on arrival, guided vineyard tour, tasting of three wines with Yorkshire nibbles, and afternoon tea, for 2 people.
- Duration: The tour and tasting take about 1.5 hours. Then there’s afternoon tea, so there’s no need to rush.
- Booking: Booking is essential and subject to availability. They choose a date and time online through our voucher booking page.
- Good to know: Our vineyard tours are for adults. We can cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets with at least 48 hours’ notice.
