Father’s Day BBQ
Give Dad the afternoon he actually wants: proper BBQ food, live music, a drink on us, and a few hours relaxing among the vines.
Join us at Yorkshire Heart Vineyard for a special Father’s Day BBQ afternoon at our award-winning vineyard near Nun Monkton. We’ll be serving homemade BBQ dishes with fresh salads, proper puddings, and plenty of Yorkshire Heart wine, beer and fizz available from the bar.
Every dad will receive a complimentary beer or glass of wine as a Father’s Day treat. No fuss. No forced speeches. Just good food, good drinks, and a relaxed afternoon in the Yorkshire countryside.

Father’s Day can be hard to get right. Socks are fine. A mug is fine. But a few hours at the vineyard with a plate full of BBQ food, a glass in hand, and live music drifting across the Winehouse? That’s a proper Father’s Day.
We’ll have live music from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, with tables available from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm. You can book inside the Winehouse Cafe, in the marquee, or outside on the patio and lawn, weather permitting.
What to Expect
01. The Arrival
Arrive from 12:00 pm and settle in at your booked table. Choose the Winehouse Cafe, the marquee, or an outdoor spot on the patio or lawn if the weather plays nicely.
02. A Drink for Dad
Every dad will be served a complimentary beer or glass of wine. A small thank you for everything from taxi duties to questionable jokes.
03. The BBQ
We’ll be serving a homemade BBQ menu with adult, children’s, vegetarian, vegan and pescatarian options available. It is relaxed, hearty food made for a Sunday afternoon at the vineyard.
04. The Music
Live music runs from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, so you can sit back, enjoy the atmosphere, and make an afternoon of it.

- Steak or salmon
- Vegetarian and vegan options available
All served with potato salad, coleslaw and fresh salads.
Followed by a choice of homemade desserts.
Children’s option includes chicken and sausage.

We are tucked away in the beautiful village of Nun Monkton, just off the A59 between York and Harrogate.

- By Taxi: We recommend pre-booking your taxi home, as signal can be patchy in the vines!
