Bonfire Night Beer & Wine Gifts
However you mark the 5th of November, we have got it covered. Come and spend Guy Fawkes Night by the fire with us at our Beers and Bangers evening, or bring the vineyard home and stock up on warming Yorkshire beer and wine for your own bonfire. Either way, it is a proper Yorkshire night in or out.
Beers & Bangers Night
Picture it: a dark November evening, the warm glow of our Arctic Cabin, and a central BBQ fire crackling away while you settle in with a beer in hand. Beers and Bangers is a cosy, intimate evening built around exactly that, with a guided tasting of at least six Yorkshire Heart beers, from the crisp Blonde and the zesty Silverheart IPA through to the dark, roasted Blackheart Stout, and gourmet hot dogs made with local butcher’s sausages served halfway through. It runs from 7pm to around 9:30pm, and with just 16 seats in the cabin, it is as snug and sociable as a night out gets.
For the 5th of November, we cannot think of a better fit: a warm fire, a dark night, and beer and bangers by the flames. You will find the full detail on the Beers and Bangers Night page, and current dates on our events listing. Seats are limited and these evenings book up, so it is worth grabbing your place early.
Tim's Best Bonfire Beers
A cold, dark night is exactly when a dark beer comes into its own. For Bonfire Night I'd point people at the Blackheart Stout or the Hearty Bitter, something with a bit of roast and warmth to it. People expect dark beer to be heavy, but ours are smooth and easy going, and there's nothing better with a hot dog by the fire.
Tim Spakouskas
New to the dark stuff? Our guide to porter versus stout explains the warming end of the range, beer and food pairings helps you match a pint to the bangers, and different types of beer is a handy guide if you are choosing for a group.
Beer for Your Own Bonfire
Hosting your own fireworks night? Get the beer sorted and the rest looks after itself. For a crowd in the garden, our beer in a box holds five litres of fresh Yorkshire beer, ready to pour all evening, and a build-your-own mixed case lets you pick a spread to suit everyone, anything from three to twelve bottles. Want a few to hand round? Our bottled beers do the job, and a bit of branded glassware from our beer accessories never goes amiss.
On a cold night, lean into the darker, warming styles. Our Blackheart Stout is all roasted coffee and molasses, smooth rather than heavy, and the Hearty Bitter brings a chestnut-brown, toffee-rich warmth that suits a chilly evening perfectly. If you would rather keep things easy-going for a mixed crowd, the crisp, citrusy Blonde is the reliable crowd-pleaser. Have a look at the full beer range to pick your line-up, all brewed on site with our own spring water, and all of it gluten free. There is more under gifts for beer lovers if you are bringing a gift along too.
Or Something from the Vineyard
Not everyone is a beer drinker, and a bonfire night is all the better for a bit of choice. A warming glass of red wine keeps the chill off nicely, and a bottle of sparkling wine is just the thing to toast the fireworks as they go up.
A Warming Gift for a Beer Lover
If Bonfire Night has you thinking ahead to gifts, a night by the fire makes a lovely one. A place at Beers and Bangers, a brewery tour voucher, or an open-value Yorkshire Heart gift voucher all make a warming treat for the beer lover in your life, and the voucher lets them choose their own.

It is a cosy, intimate evening in our Arctic Cabin, gathered around a central BBQ fire. You will taste at least six of our Yorkshire Heart beers, with gourmet hot dogs served halfway through, from 7pm to around 9:30pm. We run these evenings on limited dates through the year and they tend to sell out, so the best place to check current dates is our events listing. If you are hoping to come for Bonfire Night specifically, keep an eye out for a date around early November.
