Not everyone wants a guided tour. Sometimes you just want to sit down, relax, and taste some fantastic wine at your own speed. That’s exactly what our Cellar Door Tastings are for.
Available Tuesday to Sunday, these self-guided sessions let you explore our range without the walking or the schedule. Whether you pop in for a quick “Classic” flight or settle in for the full “Signature” experience, you’ll get generous pours, delicious paired nibbles, and the best view in Yorkshire.
Choose Your Experience
- Classic Tasting (£16.95): The perfect introduction. You’ll enjoy three 50ml glasses of our core Latimer Range (Red, White, and Rosé). It’s a great way to get a feel for our house style, accompanied by three tasty nibbles of your choice.
- Signature Tasting (£24.95): The full monty. We’ll pour you six 50ml glasses, taking you through the entire cellar. You’ll taste our Sparkling, the Latimer range, the premium Winemaker’s Choice, and our limited edition Single Varietals. Includes three nibbles to help you soak it all up.
- The Nibbles: Wine needs food. Both tasting options come with a selection of three proper Yorkshire nibbles. Choose from cheese, meats, crackers, olives and chocolate to create your own mini grazing board.
- No Rush: The best part? There’s no time limit. Once you have your wine, the table is yours. Sit in the Winehouse, head out to the terrace, and enjoy the vineyard views for as long as you like.
Upgrade Your Visit
- Make a day of it. Tasting done but not ready to leave? Our Winehouse Café is open for lunch and afternoon tea.
- Light Lunch Platter (+£15): A hearty selection of locally sourced meats, cheeses, pork pies, and salads. The perfect follow-up to a morning of tasting.
- Yorkshire Afternoon Tea (+£20): A proper spread. Fresh sandwiches, homemade scones with clotted cream and jam, and a selection of cakes. Served with tea or coffee.

We are tucked away in the beautiful village of Nun Monkton, just off the A59 between York and Harrogate.
- By Car: We have plenty of free parking on-site. Just follow the signs for the vineyard once you hit the village.
- By Taxi: We recommend pre-booking your taxi home, as signal can be patchy in the vines!
