Afternoon Tea

From £21.95 per person
Homemade Cakes
Unlimited Tea/Coffee
Vineyard Views

Forget stuffy hotels and tiny, bite-sized portions. This is a proper Yorkshire Afternoon Tea. Join us in the Winehouse Café (or out on the sun terrace) for a relaxed afternoon of homemade treats and sweeping views of the vines.

Everything on your stand is freshly prepared in our kitchen. We believe in generous fillings, scones that are still warm from the oven, and cakes that taste like they should. It’s the perfect way to catch up with friends or celebrate a special occasion in the heart of Nun Monkton.

What to Expect (The Itinerary)

      1. The Arrival
Take your seat in the cosy Winehouse Café or, if the sun is shining, find a spot on the terrace overlooking our 29,000 vines. Settle in and enjoy the view while we brew your pot of Yorkshire tea or freshly ground coffee
      2. The Savouries: We start with the savoury tier. Enjoy a selection of freshly prepared finger sandwiches with classic fillings, alongside warm, homemade savoury pastries. No crusts, plenty of flavour.
      3. The Scones: The main event. You’ll be served large, fresh fruit scones baked that morning. Naturally, they come with plenty of strawberry jam and thick clotted cream. (Jam or cream first? We let you decide).
      4. The Sweets: Finish on a high with a selection of miniature cakes and sweet treats, all baked right here in our kitchen. Perfect with a refill of tea or coffee, which is unlimited throughout your visit.

Swap the tea for a chilled glass of our award-winning Sparkling White wine. The zesty bubbles cut through the cream and scones perfectly.
