Camping with Yorkshire Heart at our Campsite in York
At Yorkshire Heart, we offer a relaxed, countryside campsite located next to our award-winning Vineyard.
Situated in the Vale of York, on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Nun Monkton, between Harrogate and York, our campsite is the perfect location for couples and families to holiday, and enjoy a relaxed rural retreat.
What makes our campsite different?
Of course, what makes our campsite truly unique is that it is part of our 16 acre Vineyard. Whilst there is no obligation for our camping guests to visit the Vineyard itself, many people do choose to join us for one of our tours and tasting experiences. We host Vineyard Tours & Wine Tastings, Evenings in the Vineyard and Cellar Door Wine tastings.
You can also enjoy a tour and tasting experience at our Yorkshire Heart Brewery, or join us for one of our Tap nights!
We also host a range of popular events throughout the year including our Acoustic Music Nights which take place from April – October and Hearty Festival which returns once again this year on 25th – 27th July 2025. Pitches are available during these times.
Our on-site Winehouse Café offers a selection of delicious food and drink options to enjoy during your stay with us. From breakfast and brunch options to hearty lunches, afternoon tea, our famous Yorkshire tapas and a range of homemade cakes and warming hot drinks, you don’t have to worry about being entirely self catering!
Yorkshire Heart is a family run business and there is always somebody on site should you have any questions or problems. We want our guests to have a truly relaxing and memorable stay with us and unlike many campsites, we like to ensure our guests have lots of space to pitch their tent, caravan, motorhome or camper so you can really feel at home.

Wine, food and camping...10/10
"Great weekend stay, we camped at the vineyard and took full advantage of the food, wine and tour… This is 1 of 7 vineyards we’ve visited and overall one of the best (wine was very impressive vs some of the other UK options). Will 100% return.”
A Yorkshire vineyard.
"What a fabulous place to visit. We were there with friends camping in our motorhome enjoying the quiet countryside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the wine and beer tasting with fabulous food. Well worth a stay or visit.”
Friendly, comfortable with lots of family values.
"The best experience of music, food and camping. Was greeted by a warm friendly gentleman who took time to chat and explain about the festival. Lots of families with a friendly feel. All the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Music was exceptional. Beers reasonable price. Will definitely book again for next year and enjoy a camp before the end of summer too.”

A perfect find for a couple of nights camping!
What a fab find and visit for one of their events, what's not to like! Lovely hospitable family and it’s so obvious they love what they do. Spent 2 nights camping with acoustic night and vineyard tour. I learnt a lot about the production and of course enjoyed a tipple or two. We will be back, thank you!”
